Good afternoon from Christchurch New Zealand

My uncle James Henry Brown (Jim) was a POW at Stalag VIIIB Germany between 1940 and 1943. I have in my possession two diaries that he kept during his incarceration in Stalag VIIIB. I am attaching a photocopy of the front page of the diary which indicates he was POW No 23285. I am enquiring to see if you have any record of a prisoner with this number – Uncle Jim came from New Zealand and was born in Port Chalmers which is in the Province of Otago in the South Island.
