I have just found your site and being an ex-soldier I would like to update your forum on an ex. POW.

My father in law was a POW in Lamsdorf. His name was Frederic George Carr of the Durham Light Infantry. He was captured at Dunkirk and spent the rest of the war at Lamsdorf until escaping sometime in 1945.

Sorry I have no other details about him as I did not know he was POW until his death in 1988. However I have several photographs of him with his comrades in the said prison camp and could send copies if required.
