I’m trying to piece together any information about my brother Alf Cooper stoker on the HMSBedouin sunk in 1942 on the Malta convoy. Captured by the Italians and handed over to the Germans. He remembers being sent to Lamsdorf and the ‘march’ until liberated by the Americans. There is a book titled “HMS Bedouin the long march home” which I would love to purchase for him. Like a lot of old service men they never tell too much of what they endured, when they pass on so does history and I don’t want his part to be forgotten. If anyone can expand on what I have written please use my email address.
