Cordery, G H
Guardsman George H Cordery
Information provided by Mike Cordery
The following are details of my father who was captured in North Africa around April 1942, prior to the Battle of Alamein. I believe it was at the Mareth Line. After capture he was sent to Italy. He did not stay there until the end of the war but was sent to Lamsdorf. He did not talk about the war at all, so I have few other details, which is a shame as my own grandchildren ask questions that I wish I could answer.
I hope this helps your records.
