When researching my family history I now find that my Uncle was in Stalag 344 from 1943 – 1945 (although he had been a prisoner of warr from 1940 and in various other camps. My Uncle was George W Drummond and was in The Black watch.

I have several photographs but do not know if they are from Lamsdorf or one of the other camps. I would love to get more information about him if possible – perhaps someone will recognise the name.
