My grandfather Stanley (Stan) Easton served with the DLI.

He was captured in North Africa around 1942 and taken to Italy then to Poland in Stalag 344 where he stayed for the remainder of the war.

My grandfather died in 1995 at the age of 83, sadly I have very little information about his time in the war.
