Subject: Stalag VIIIB Lamsdorf / Stalag 344

I grew up knowing my father had been a POW during WW2 in Germany but until recently had not known where as he never spoke of this time. He was held in Lamsdorf from 1941 (I think!) until liberation in 1945. Whilst researching I came across your web-site and you have asked for any names that could be added to the list of POW’s.

My father’s name was
Leslie Donald Farrell, he was in the Royal Army Service Corps number T/210903.
His POW number was 22033.
