My father John Stephen Foster, arrived at Stalag VIIIB Lamsdorf / Stalag 344 from an Italian POW camp on 20/08/43.

His Army number was 7015708. His regiment was 2nd Battalion London Irish Rifles* . 

POW number 220407. 

I have no other details apart from he survived.

Editor’s Note*  WO392 POW lists and WO417 Casualty Lists state the Unit as Royal Ulster Rifles.  In 1937 London Irish Rifles was re-named London Irish Rifles, The Royal Ulster Rifles.
