  My father and his brother were taken prisoner after some of  the BEF force were left behind on the Dunkirk beaches. Both men are long gone now, but my memories of my father’s life having been blighted by his experiences still lives on. The brothers were in Lamsdorf from 1940 to 45 as far as I know.

 

   I still have the Christmas card my Dad was allowed to send to his parents and his ID tags

 

  My father was Denis Cyril FYNN  and his brother was  Edward (Ted) FYNN.  I hope this will help with your research .
