Subject: Stalag VIIIB
As a help with your research for soldiers who were in Stalag VIIIB my father was there during the second war his details are as follows
Regt number;4618952 Pte E. Gascoigne 2/7 Duke of Wellingtons Regiment taken prisoner June 1940.There is a list of places he must have visited in a prayer book he was issued with and we are fairly certain he left a prayer book with a polish lady who sent our family it back a few years ago. I have all the other details if you should require them.
