My uncle, William David GRAHAM was captured on Crete and his New Zealand Army Records advise that he was listed as missing on 19/06/1941 and then as follows:

906/1596 2. : 12/04/1945 Transferred Stalag VIIIC Germany POW No 5232
906/171.1 : 19/05/1945 Safe in UK

My father and uncle were Irishmen; my father being in the RAF in Egypt and my Uncle in the New Zealand Army, having immigrated here in 1925.
