My uncle was  a pow at Stalag VIIIB Lamsdorf / Stalag 344 , his name was John P Grogan, he was with the Royal Regiment of Canada and was captured at Dieppe. I have included a picture of the cover of a book he wrote. It is a short factual account of his pow experience and a good ‘read’.

Pat Grogan.
