My father was a Pow here from 1939 and was on the Death March until being liberated by the Americans in 1945.

 His name is Richard John Holland and was one of two soldiers from the 1st Battalion of the Royal Warwickshire regiment who survived the landing in France and was then taken prisoner by the Germans.

 I hope this information will be useful and that these brave men who suffered so much throughout the war, will get their rightful recognition.
