My father, Gordon Arthur Francis Howe, was captured at Calais during rear guard action in support of Dunkirk. He was in the Royal Tank Corps and after the tank battle at Arras moved to Calais.

He was in Lamsdorf from May 1940 until April 1945 and joined in the death march.

He died June 1992.
