The National Archives (UK)Other Sources (Relative Report)My uncle Frank Bernard Inshaw was a prisoner at this camp.
He was captured at Dunkirk. My uncle and his friend Jack Staples found themselves when captured as members of The Royal Army Medical Corp looking after the British wounded in a building’s basement somewhere outside Dunkirk.
I am also certain that two other friends also taken at the same time were Teddy Coleman and Roy Prior. These had all joined up together as friends from Ashford, Kent, and were all keen sportsmen who played for local sides.
