Driver Jackson died in Stalag VIIIB/344 on 22 Apr 1944 from illness (pericarditis bacterial and endocarditis). He was buried in Lamsdorf cemetery (Section 1, Plot 1, Row 2, Grave 19) and then reinterred in the CWGC Rakowicki Cemetery in Krakow .
