Information provided by Graham Kleinhans:

I am busy compiling my Grandfather’s history. Thought his details might assist your records in some way.
He was interred for a time at PG 110 Carbonia.
His name was Cpl David Jacobus Kleinhans.
2nd Transvaal Scottish Regiment in the South African Army.
His service number was 30901. His Italian Pow number was possibly 9731*
He was captured in North Africa on the 20 June 1942.

I found further details where he resurfaced in Germany at Stalag Luft IVB and later in IV D/Z under POW number 224276. I have many photos and other bits of info.

* Editor’s Note.  WO392 POW lists:  D. J. Kleinhans, Service Number 9731, POW number 30787.    The list also quotes a D. Kleinhans: Service Number 30901, POW number 224276.
