My father and uncle were both at the camp, having been captured in N Africa in 1942.

[Editors note: Information in this record comes from TNA WO 416/213/514. Krumwas reported missing 28.5.42. in the Western Desert [North Africa].
He was reported no longer POW in a list dated 31.8.45. If he was on one of the latter ships to come out of Odessa he might have been recorded as late as 31.8.45.
I find him recorded as Krum in birth, marriage and death records. A marriage to Pamela P Sayers is the apparent link between the two men.
Krume only appears in birth, marriage and death records for two persons one is Roger Krume the reporter. ]
