Private Henry E Langlois

Subject: Lamsdorf PoW Langlois
I have doing some family history research, and I found out that my great uncle Henry Langlois was a PoW during WWII. My late grandmother (Henry’s sister) had mentioned this, but I didn’t recall any details.
Through Ancestry.co.uk I have found out that he was in the Pioneer Corps, and was a PoW at Lamsdorf. They give the details as :
Private H E Langlois 13002878 Pioneer Corps, Stalag 344 Lambinowice, Poland.
I was looking on your website today and I could not find his name on your list, so I thought you might like to update your records. I can also give you the following info on him:
Henry E Langlois, born 26 Nov 1901, Guernsey, son of Henry and Clemence Langlois (nee Sangan).
I don’t know any more about his army or PoW experience, but I know that he survived the war and returned to Guernsey.
I hope you will be able to update your website with his details, and if you happen to have any further info about him (or a photo) would you be so good as to let me know ? Private H E Langlois 13002878 Pioneer Corps, Stalag 344 Lambinowice, Poland.
Born 26 Nov 1901, Guernsey, son of Henry and Clemence Langlois (nee Sangan).
