My grandfather was held in this camp. He arrived from POW Camp 52, Pian Di Coreglia also listed as Chiabari. His POW number was: 30042 and he was a member of the 2nd Battalion The Cameron Highlanders. His army number was 2935328 T.H. MacConnell, later in 1945 he was then sent to Stalag 383, Hohenfels.
