I had posted about my dad on the Wartime Memories Project but would be grateful if you could add his details to your data. His details below, feel free to use as much as you want. Sadly, my dad died of ill health in 1963 when his three children were very young, so we were never able to talk to him about his time as a POW. But we did have left to us some pictures and Xmas Cards sent to his family from the camp. Tom kept a notebook to record what happened during the ‘Long March’. Before donating the original notebook to the Regimental Museum in Monmouth I typed up what my dad had recorded during the March, mainly what food they had and how far they walked each day.
Good luck with your work commemorating the POW’s and what they went through during their imprisonment.
