My grandfather was a POW during the war and held a Lamsdorf Stalag 344 during 1941-45. I was wondering if there is an easier way to find out information? He is actually still alive today [Editor’s note June 2014] at the tender age of 98. He does tell me the odd story but understandably does not like to talk about it much so I don’t push him. He was part of the Seaforth Highlanders.
