I would like to add my father to the list of prisoners in Lamsdorf.

His name was Reginald Joseph Newall. He was in the Royal Engineers. He was a prisoner in Italy first, having been captured in Libya. He was then moved to Lamsdorf. He was on the Long March which he managed to survive. I have a lot of letters and documents from his time as a prisoner, including his diaries. He never talked about his time as a prisoner (which lasted for 4 years) and I only learned about what he had been through after he died and my mother found his diaries.
