Subject: POW’S STALAG 344

My father was a prisoner of war at Lamsdorf during WW2. He was a POW for over 3 years. He was captured in Crete.

Private Thomas John Pavitt WX 1077, 2/11 Infantry Battalion 6 Division.

He also left a diary of that period which describes his time at Lamsdorf and the forced march.
