My Father was a prisoner of the Italians in 1942. He was Sgt George Percival, 7896482 of 42 RTR. Captured in June in North Africa at Gazala, he was held in PG73 until being shipped to Germany on the Italian capitulation.
Sergeant George Percival 7896482 42nd Royal Tank Regiment, part of 1st Army Tank Brigade.
