Dad left Lamsdorf on 23/01/45 on the Long March. We have a route from his diary detailing mostly about where they bedded down and food rations. He arrived at Stalag 9a Ziegenhain on 13/03/45.
He arrived in France Cherbourg on 09/04/40 his 26th birthday and arrived back in uk on 09/04/45 his 31st birthday.
