Subject: adding a name to the P.O.W. camp

My father Sgt. Ernest Rawlinson (known as Paul) R.A.F. was captured during the Dieppe raid in 1942 and was a prisoner in Stalag VIIIB until the end of the war in 1945. His number was 516826. We have several letters he wrote to my mother (they got married in 1945) during this time , a copy of the front page of The Camp dated March 25 1945, photographs of my mother that she sent to him whilst he was in the camp and his R.A.F sewing kit. He lived a long life and died in 2007 aged 92!
