My grandfather was at StalagVIIIB Lamsdorf / Stalag 344 for. He was there from June 1940 – Dec 1943 then moved to Stalag VIIA Moosburg.

Cpl Walter Samuel Sellars – 2nd Bn Dorsetshire Regt – British Army – Captured at La Basse, South of Dunkirk on 27 May 1940.

Wounded – shot in right arm and shoulder.

Liberated 26 May 1945.
