I have been working on my dad and uncle’s WWII Recollections.   They were both POWs at Stalag VIIIB. Their names were John B. Shivas and Andrew Shivas with the Seaforth Highlanders. 

 Andrew Shivas was moved in 1943 when the re-numbering of the camps took place and Stalag VIIIB was applied to Teschen and Lamsdorf was renamed to Stalag 344.  

 My Dad John B. Shivas remained at Stalag 344 Lamsdorf.
