Informant: Wendy Truman and Interrogation Report from Australian Military.

They were surrounded by enemy tanks at El Alamein.
He was reported as POW in Nov 1942.  He was wounded in the leg and was unable to walk. He spent time in Derna Hospital, then Caserta hospital, PG 66 Capua, PG 57 Udine, PG106 Vercelli.
He broke out of Vercelli camp during September with others.
