My name is Talya and I am the granddaughter of Andre Weidlinger (inmate #: 8300) British (Jewish) soldier who had spent 4 years in Stalag (383, VIIIB, 319 Chelem)

He was taken captive on 29/4/41 in Kalamata, Greece.

Editor’s Note: It would appear that the name Andre Weidlinger was assumed only when joining the Army, simply as an alias. He was born Abraham Dayagi. Confirmation of this would be appreciated.
