My father was in VIIIB from late September 1942 (having been shot down over Holland) until Jan 1945 when he walked to Freising and was liberated by US forces.

He was Warrent Officer Alan Yates (RAF) an Observer with 149 Squadron (Stirling Bombers) at Lakenheath. You might like to add him to the list. I have a range of photos and some writings (about the march) as well as his Stalag dog tag and one or two other bits.
